Registration form is now open! The deadline will be on 23 February 2024 for the early-bird registrarion.
Note: If you are a presenting author, you will need a specific "Paper ID" in the process of registration. Please sumbit your abstract first, then you will receive your Paper ID from the organizing committee.
Note: If you wish to request an invoice for payment, please choose "bank transfer" at the end of the registration process. Once you complete the registration, you will receive an email from JBE. Please reply to that email to request an invoice.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be notified by email at registration@jbe.co.jp
We will fully refund the payment in case the cancellation is notified within 55 days after the completion of payment. Please note that cancellation after 23 February 2024 will not be considered and thus the payment is not refundable.

Notice: Lunch is not included in the onsite registration fees except for Day 3 (conference tour). Onsite participants have choices of either purchasing the conference lunch tickets in the process of registration (so that the organizing committee prepares a lunch box for each of the four lunch times) or going out to a restaurant around the venue.
Notice: Do you need a visa application and an letter of invitation to travel to Japan? Read carefully the instruction by the Ministry of Foreign Affair of Japan and the procedure for the document preparation with the 15th ICOC organizing committee.

Student Support of the 15th ICOC
As a form of travel support, the local organizing committee will cover the accommodation during the main conference for students who submit an excellent abstract.
Eligibility: Students who complete their registration as an onsite presenting author by 23 February 2024
Application: No special form of the application (automatically nominated if eligible)
Support: Free accommodation at a hotel near the venue for 7 nights from June 1 to June 8
Number of selected: 1 or 2 students (bachelor to doctoral) who submit the most excellent abstract
*postdoctoral researchers are not eligible
Referees: Chair of the 15th ICOC and several senior copepodologists
Notification of Results: 1 March 2024
